Collection: BAMBOO CORAL
Bamboo coral is not a natural coral in the strict sense (derived from a marine animal), nor is it a traditional mineral stone. It is actually an organic material of plant origin, often dyed red to imitate Mediterranean red coral (protected and now very rare). It generally comes from marine algae or fossilized or reconstituted bamboo branches.
✧︎ So, does it have "real virtues" in lithotherapy?
🔸 Yes, but with nuances.
Bamboo coral can be considered an interesting energetic support because:
- It stimulates the root chakra, through its red color, its rounded shape, and its organic material.
- It evokes the connection to life, to the body, to nature, and can therefore reinforce an anchored and joyful vital energy.
- In some Asian traditions, materials of marine or plant origin are seen as carrying gentle and protective energy, especially if they have been worn in contact with the body.
But:
❗️It does not have the same properties as natural red coral, which is imbued with a deeper symbolism related to blood, spiritual protection, and ancient rituals.
